Hi friends,
👀 I recently watched an Instagram reel which Jill Woods posted on Instagram (@practicemomentum) about marketing which got my attention. She was talking about getting loud with our marketing as a lot of us are quite self conscious that we may be posting too much. I know I’ve been like this!
Jill explained, that to us our marketing may seem like were doing too much, but that’s what it should feel like because we see everything we create and post, but the people around us don’t.
🎧 She gave a brilliant analogy of wearing headphones and eating a crunchy crisp, or potato chips for my American readers 😉.
With the head phones on we’ve blocked out other noises and the sound of the crunch of the crisp is very loud, but to the person sitting next to us, they won’t hear it to the extent that we do. Further more, the person sitting a couple of rows from us, may not hear anything at all. She then went on to explain that not everyone is going to see our posts or read every single email of ours. So it’s important for us to be loud with our marketing!
😐 This resonated with me, not just with my foot care business, but with my Not a Pod creations too. My heart sank when I realised a lot of people didn’t know about my website and the content in it (after being active for nearly 2 years). I guess, its so easy to assume that people who follow your business or brand on whatever platform, knows everything you are doing because you do…but they don’t.
😊 After watching Jills reel on Instagram, of course I had to take action! I’ve started sharing more of what Not a Pod does, and honestly it has been so refreshing and encouraging knowing that what I have to offer is now being noticed and helping people on their journey to being their own boss as a Foot health practitioner.
So to practice what I’m preaching now, I wanted to re-introduce my website and the contents in it! I’ll be continuing to update it and add more digital products too. A few little teething problem in the beginning, but now all sorted and I’m very happy!
🦶 I have recently launched my Foot Health Practitioner Business Start Up Guide (36 pages) which is a digital product (meaning it’s sent straight to your email inbox after purchasing. Thank you to all those who have purchased it already :)

..And like some of you know I’ve had my digital shop for well over a year now selling my foot care templates, forms and my Pricing Guide for profit (which has recently been updated and now easier on the eyes to read).
😉 So whilst I still want to provide support mainly by way of my YouTube videos, I’ll be showing off my digital products more!
😃 Sooo… how about you?
How do you feel about being loud with marketing your foot care business?
