Hi Friends,
I know you’ll love these three items just as much as I’ve been loving them when carrying out my foot care treatments as they have changed the way I work for the better. I’m just gonna get straight into it!
Trays/containers for foot care packs
When I go out on home visits, I have individual packs I make up for each client containing everything I need in the appointment. The containers I use are from Germany. I still love them, BUT I’ve had FHP’s say it’s not within their budget, or my American friends say they don’t deliver to the US.
So I’ve been looking for a budget friendly alternative to recommend, and I came across a post on Facebook where another FHP told me about these containers/trays which they bought as an alternative to the ones I bought in Germany last year. They sent me the link and I bought them to trial and have been using the tray containers for the last two weeks. I have to say they work perfectly and probably the best alternative that I’ve come across so far. I would 100% recommend to anyone who wants to have foot care packs that contain everything for a home visit appointment. Theses ones are a great alternative and at less than £10 for a pack of 4.
If you have no idea what I’m on about. Here is a video of the packs I use on home visits, these are the ones from Germany but same principle. Here is the link to the alternative container trays.

Bur folder
I was very kindly invited to join the American foot care nurses association Facebook group about a year and a bit ago. I often pop in and read some of the posts. It was in this group that Bonnie, a Foot care nurse posted her amazing idea of having a small folder for her burs. So of course I went and bought it straight away and have been using it ever since. I use burs and bits often and I have a variety of them, so I find the folder easier to pick and choose which one I need for a treatment. It does have a little con, where you have to be quite careful with it when sliding in the bur or it could tear, but otherwise, it works perfect for me, easy to wipe clean and also very inexpensive. There are other ones too so have a browse if this is something you may find beneficial. Here is the link to the folder.

Face shield
I post more on my Instagram stories recently when it comes to social media, and last week I shared about my problem with finding goggles/glasses to protect my eyes because they aways steam up which is very annoying. Anyway, a Podiatrist responded to my stories and recommended this amazing face shield. Fits my face perfect and does not mist up. I forget I’m wearing it sometimes because, yes, its that good. I did think I might look like a bit of a numpty wearing it, but honestly, my clients have said to me it’s important I protect myself from the nail dust when using my bur during home visits. So to protect my eyes, and my face from the rouge nail that may try and attack me, this face shield does the job. This is the link for the face shield.

So these are the three items that have really changed the way I work for the better, I’ve been raving about it on my Insta stories so thought I’d share with you too.
Hope you have a lovely weekend,
Jess x
